What information, service/products are provided for people flying with diabetes:

Every SAA Aircraft has an Emergency Doctors Bag equipped with emergency equipment.

A Glucometer (glucose blood testing kit) is available within the emergency kit on board all South African airways aircraft, however, passengers with diabetes are advised to carry their own testing equipment with them in their hand luggage.

All SAA cabin crew are trained in first aid and the ability to use all medical equipment that is stored on board. If you require any diabetes dietary requirements, then please advise us before you board a flight, and we shall accommodate you.
